Suggestion: Subscribe to a users posts?

Basically on a daily basis I check for 'latest posts' by my favorite forum posters.

Is there a possibility to add a feature that allows you to get new posts by user x and add it to your rss reader?

Sorry, if this has been discussed before and if it's already possible to do this, please tell me.

This is actually a suggestion I made a while back. Someone told me to make a Google Alert, which would alert me whenever a post by a favorite poster was made. It didn't work.

I still think it's a great idea, and anyone with some programming chops should make it happen. I can't believe it's that difficult.

Maybe we could implement a "follow me" feature, i.e, Twitter....
