Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions about starting an association.

1- Can an association just consist of an email only. Meaning the way that they join is through an opt-in and I send the content to them through there?

2- I've heard two things about starting an association...Some say you don't need anything to call your membership an association and others say you have to have all this legal stuff done...any input on this? Note: there will be some services and monetization applied but a lot of the content will be value based.

3- FYI...I will be inviting them through cold email and offering something upfront for them joining. Thoughts?
