Starting a Site out of Atlanta

Fairly new to this Forum. I've been in sales in the software business for several years. Recently I've come up with an idea for a website that solves a problem that I and most people I know deal with. While I've been in technology, I have no technical skills and little to no exposure to internet marketing and SEO. I'm starting this business outside of my normal day job with the hopes that it takes off to something much more. I'm in the very early stages and have started blogging and tweeting about the process of starting from scratch and not knowing a lot:
