Hi Everyone! I'm Simba, and I'm excited to meet you all on the forum!
To start things off, I read Unscripted and I'm planning to grab The Great Rat Race Escape soon! It all started when I worked at my shitty job in 2023. Nice team, toxic managers, favoritism, lies, and I was always stuck cleaning the lobby (and scrubbing toilets!). The day that things started to shift—and possibly created an FTE—was when an old lady came up to me at the end of my shift. The memory’s still fuzzy, but she told me about leadership, and said she saw that I was capable of so much more...
(I quit 3 months later)
During that time, I weighed 200 lbs—and something in my mind said:
"You need to change."
I lost 50 lbs in 2 months.
Today
I’m determined to help people by providing value and learning along the way. That belief keeps getting stronger, especially when it comes to helping business owners with their business. (More on that later)
I have always wanted to become an entrepreneur. I've done 4 side hustles so far (Selling Candy at School/Soccer events, Window Cleaning, Aerating, and I'm starting another one). Yeah, I know their Side Hustles... but I have learned valuable lessons from each one of them.
Valuable Lessons:
D2D (Selling Candy, Window Cleaning, Aerating):
People will buy when they NEED, or you AROUSE them into buying.
Rejection will happen, and that's okay. (There are THOUSANDS of people)
Quiet the ignorance.
Patience is key
In general:
I noticed that the Environment and friends play a key role in the goals you want to accomplish.
Risks aren't risks, their opportunities.
'Act upon Echo'
Where I'm going now:
I just finished up Aeration and will start another side hustle soon (mainly to keep cash flowing).
At the same time, I’m building a real business in the Reputation Marketing space. I'm excited to see what happens along the way—and I might even document the journey here on the forum!
