I have a problem…

I do believe I may enjoy the sales and marketing aspect of the business more than I enjoy actually coaching then men.

Don’t get me wrong, it makes me VERY happy to help these guys and see them get success but I’m loving the challenge of sales especially.

Im sure that fun feeling will go away eventually and it will seem like a grind and ill wish clients just fell into my lap but so far I really enjoy the sales aspect of it.

haha this is so relatable to me in the case of web design - i'm loving the calls, learning sales, meetings. The actual web design part is meh

Update

My leads are now coming from the following:

• Facebook and reddit groups
• People responding to my reddit post
• I have a way to scrape numbers from men on dating sites
• ”afffiliates” promoting my stuff to their followers
• Referrals and organic shares of my lead magnet

My model goes like this:

Get them my lead magnet -> Lead magnet promotes my free consulting call -> follow up with them if they dont book a call -> get them on a call -> $$$$ or send them another freebie and follow back up on that a few days later in which case this cycle repeats.

I’m essentially using the GAP sales method and some stuff from Jeremy Miner NEPQ stuff and its working pretty decently.

I’ve signed a couple more clients at $2500 each.

My next step is to move more towards automation by leveraging technology and other people. Right now my process is very work heavy. I have to make the post, manually contact the people, manually send out my lead magnet, manually get their numbers, make all the calls myself, etc. Then I work with clients in the evening.

Streamlining everything and making everything more efficient is my next big step.

Update

Just found a way to target high net worth, recently single, individuals.

It requires a bit more time and effort to get the details for these people so I’m hiring a VA from the Philippines to do this for me. I’ll run a test and see if I can sell them on coaching at a higher price point.

I love making money…

I hate doing the coaching.

After this current crop of clients I will no longer be doing this.

I partnered up with a professional photographer who wanted to retire and close down his business. His studio was highly profitable and the dude is not only good with a camera, he has serious business skills as well.

We decided to create a coaching program for photographers who wish to grow their business.

He is doing the coaching and I’m doing the sales with the goal of eventually hiring some other sales guys and having a full on sales team.

I’m going to start a new execution thread about his business.

Great progress over the past month!

However, I'm confused as to why you're pursuing another venture when you've already made +$5k in little over 6 weeks? Is scaling the issue? If you haven't got your face plastered all over your content, maybe you could create a SOP and have someone else do the coaching part? In fact, maybe I would be interested in this.

It just seems ludicrous to me to leave money on the table like that

You got this man, I remember a friend who had trouble with dating and he paid around 2,500 for a month worth of weekly calls.

I would rather have several threesomes spread over a few months for that much than pay a "coach" for his advice on how I can "win women over" but that's just me. YMMV.
