I Have a 90 second spot to pitch for investors tonight at a start up weekend. Dressed to the 9s, Like A Gentleman, palms sweating and have been practicing my pitch and refining all night and day! Extremely confident however...

Starting to have second thoughts, although a partner with money, proven success, and industry knowledge Would be a huge leg up i am thinking with all of the knowledge on this site and my personal drive, I can do this myself. I have until 7:30pm est, to back out... Either way wish me luck guys and Happy Friday! Will keep you updated

Good luck with whatever you decide.
Which ever way you do decide to go, make sure you go full force (no looking back). There will always be pro and cons with the decision you make (and once you make that decision it may seem, at times, that the grass is greener on the other side). But don't give any "shoulda/woulda/couldas" much power...consider this all a learning experience if anything (and this kind of education is priceless).
Remember: eye contact, no fidgeting (!), speak clearly and make sure they can all hear you

DO NOT BACK OUT unless you think someone will take the idea and run without you. Otherwise, the experience is invaluable and you are bound by nothing until you accept an offer. DO IT.

I have wanted to do this for a while, Started reading on this forum about two weeks ago and got the motivation to go full steam into it. In the past two weeks I have made contacts and developed rapport with manufacturers, purchased multiple domain names, Promoted on social media like crazy. Enlisted the help of friends and cashed in all favors to help with web design and logo. Today i submit my LLC paperwork and application for an EIN.

That being said is why i am nervous, have i done my due diligence do i know my market well enough or jump in head first and learn as i go... I say it's time to jump. Thank you all for the support this is a great community I look forward to sharing and learning from you all!

Have you tested the market? Nothing else matters at this point.

Good luck tonight!

I have been a consumer in this market for a while now searching all over to piece together these items from different retailers, my plan is to put them all in one place at a low cost and appeal to my specific demographic even though demand spreads across many different groups. I believe my Niche is a very competitive area but my branding ideas set it apart, and will appeal to a different group then the competition.

My hope it to make a paradigm / social change and drive more customers who would normally purchase my items on impulse or immediate need to be more involved and excited about the purchase and return often.
