We like to rip into people for having jobs, but hold your vitriol, cause this is a good story.

This young man used a pretty creative self promotion technique for this day and age.

After applying for over 300 jobs and getting no good responses, this guy dressed up smartly, got to the train station super early, and stood there with a simple sign.

How many people in that age bracket are willing to go the extra mile like Alfred? Not many. Most are content to put out a few resumes and then complain for months about how life isn't fair. Or they come on the forum and complain about how jobs are for losers.. yet they have no income.

Whether this kid stays in a job setting or eventually starts his own marketing firm, he's going to go far. All because he had the initiative to put himself out there in order to get what he wants.

From such a simple piece of self promotion/marketing, people all around the world now know about this guy. Initiative pays off.
