I wanted to start a thread for anyone that is taking the Stanford online course Solar Cells, Fuel Cells, and Batteries. I just got started with it. I had a few problems at first trying to figure out the pre course survey and then saw that I needed to be logged in. Great way to start a course that intimidates me already.

I finished the intro and it is all pretty basic so far. My background is mechanical engineering and I have a strong understanding of electricity and electrical components but it has been a dozen years since I have sat in a classroom. The professor Bruce Clemens seems to be very thorough in his explanations so I am hoping he speeds things up in the first unit. I plan on starting the first unit tomorrow night and hopefully I can start working on the problems. The first unit problems are due 10/15.
