Seeking recommendations for a social media manager or advice on how to locate one. I've been spending considerable time on freelancer.com vetting potential candidates with disappointing results.

What exactly are you looking for?

Whats the goal of it?

How much are you paying?

There's a few things that cannot really be outsourced, especially cheaply, and in my opinion this is one of them.

You can find someone to do pretty posts regularly but that’s not going to get any results.

You could find someone to actually grow it but they’re going to be expensive and very in demand.

Depending on your circumstances I think you either need to do it yourself or not do it at all, unless you just want a couple posts a week to make the page look active.

That is if you are talking about organic social media content. I don’t entirely understand what you are looking for based on the post.
