Hey guys. So I recently got hooked up with a local startup here in Denver and will be joining their team for the next few months (and maybe beyond that). The plan is to really start taking off in 2018 and scaling up. But to do so the plan is to increase exposure and receive funding. In just a couple months there will be a crowdfunding campaign launched online, this is where I come in.
In order to have a successful campaign we are trying to build up a large social media and general online presence; FB, IG, Twitter & blogs are the main focuses right now. We will be starting from scratch and need to move quickly in order to meet goals having a successful CF campaign. I'm documenting the process because I know that I will have to learn a shitload and that much of this process will be applicable to other fastlaners looking to do the following:
1. Learn about and/or build up their own businesses' online presence
2. Run successful CF campaigns
3. Jumping into a pre-existing business and working with a small team
4. Watch someone else take action so that they can continue mentally masturbating
So a little background, without giving too much away:
The company has been around since 2015 but only got serious over this past year. Both years they were profitable and the second year both revenues and COGS went up significantly. It is an app that connects people who need certain types of work to those that do the work. Currently the app is just in beta, but is rolled out on the app store, is fully functional and has users on both sides of the platform.
That's it for now. Any suggestions, feedback, engagement, etc. is highly appreciated and encouraged. Thanks!
