Really great issue of LuckBox, a magazine that tends to be geared toward options traders like myself, but this issue is jammed packed with some great concepts on side hustles, entrepreneurship, and of course, probability.

Enjoy!

Classic ;)

Interesting because I thought this was one of the many gurus who (years ago) was on the "follow your passion" bandwagon.

I've noticed a lot more gurus are finally saying rethinking their ideas about passion. I've been saying it for over a decade -- passion is a horrible business model, and it shouldn't be followed. Passion follows your effort and your results.

I've found that following you passion just kills the joy. Its one thing to do something because you love to do it. Quite another to have to do the thing you love day in, day out.

It is very difficult to sustain that passion in a commercial environment. After all we do what we love when the mood takes us. When we feel the need. Because we want to, not because we have to.

Are you an option trader MJ? I wrongly thought that you didn't believe in trading to make a living. It is something thay us trying to make the jump into the fastlane should learn?

Yes, been trading for years. I typically don't buy options, more of a seller and I approach it from a business/insurance/casino standpoint.

There's a huge 40+ thread, years long, on the INSIDE on my preferred strategy. Some folks on the INSIDE also trade similarly and have reported good results. One guy just said he traded $85K worth of profits this year alone under the strategy. (Don't know if that is good/bad respective to the risk he's taking, but it was notable.)

Following passion or rather turning passion into business was a question I asked myself. For awhile, I even thought I wasn't passionate enough.

Good thing I didn't follow. Else I would have killed my passion for good.

That's freaking awesome, Ill check that out. Thanks MJ for the share! I don't have alot of capital and perhaps I should focus on my software business system but I've always been privy to trading.

My buddy is a big wrestling fan and was given a Christmas shoutout through Cameo (one of the sites in the article).

$75 for a 3 minute video of the Million Dollar Man saying Merry Christmas to him and his family.

I did some digging, and Cameo keeps 25% of every video, the rest goes to the creator. That info was on an old cached version of their FAQ (it's been removed from the latest version). If you scroll through there are some celebrities that charge $200-$250 for a 1-2 minute video. And it appears that most videos (if not all) are publicly posted on the celebrity's cameo page, and you can tell they just sit down and bang out 5-10 videos in a row because they are in the same clothes and location.
