I'm a 20 year old guy, and have started on a great project. Im going to set up a site, which as for now the idea is to make it a pay site. I will have some articles on the front and such to make sure people understand why they would want to pay to see my content.
Right now I have written a lot of the content. I just need to learn to set up a site (done it before), and implement a forum. The tricky part is to make some kind of payment system where people are automatically allowed into the site when they pay. At first I'm thinking a monthly fee of somewhere around 5-10 dollars each month. I have no experience with this, so I'm open for any suggestions here. Payments for a year of a half year should work too.
The thing is, what I have to offer of value is literally articles (information, guides, etc), so in reality they wont need to keep up the membership. So I have so use my braincells more on this to figure out a way to make this profitable, yet of value. I've found a niche, and litteraly it is a product that people don't know they need, and will benefit from. Though I have another dilemma on this one, as it is not stimulating at first (basically Im going to present a line of intelligent strategies and work, not "three easy step to be a champion".)
So my motivation behind this thread is basically that I would like to hear your advise on this, if you have any experience whether or not people will want to get into a paysite of if they plounder off like crazy. And of course, maybe the most important parts: any sources to the knowledge I need (books, blogs, sites, whatever, preferably books), like to create the site, of course making my site rank (SEO) and public speaking (yeah, that makes sense, huh?
) and a system to let people pay. I want to make it as easy as possible for people to slip their money in my pocket and increase the value of their life. :icon_super:
