Hi so I'm new here and just the past couple of days I found the site and read the book. I'm turning 19 unemployed never had a formal job except for a very short time in the guard, and just today I decided to head out in my neighborhood and job hunt. I applied online to a soon to be walmart the other night, today I took numbers from telemarketing companies, and hit up classifieds for jobs. Today I found a company on craigslist that is a new energy drink company in Phoenix, Arizona looking for sales people. The ad left an email to contact. I am now going to meet two of the company representives at a mexican restaurant tomorrow night. The task is to market and distribute the drinks to convience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, and so forth. It seems I've started my journey to becoming an entrepreneur (not that I am expecting much to happen in a short time, I realize there will be short comings), but what I am seeking is the thoughts, advice about sales and in general, and any other input from the fast laners.
