Hi guys,
My name is Rudy, I was born in 1981 and thereby now 34 years old. I'm from the Netherlands and still live there. As for motivation I've been 2 months to Brazil earlier this year to see what my life would look like if I didn't have to work anymore and lived somewhere else.
I wanted to make money since I was 15 and the older I became, freedom was also added with more value over time to the what-I-want-list. After my educations I start working as a project coordinator (monitoring and arranging things in technical environments), which I was very unsuccessful in: I was kicked out of the first 2 jobs. After that I tried to be an entrepreneur, knowing that it would ruin my resume and making it hard go get a regular job if I ever wanted it. I didn't take enough action and holded on too long to my project: trying to change how used car parts are sold through my country. Maybe it was quite ambitious (but I'd still do it again). After that I've tried several things as an entrepreneur without success, all due to me not believing I could do anything and taking steps that were way too much out of my comfortzone. Also to make money I too some jobs but that wasn't successful either. So far the sad part...
Currently I am renting out cheap caravans. It isn't going as fast as possible and I realise this will never make me enough money to live on but I see this as a learning school and investment for some pocket money: I can learn internetmarketing with this and when that has been done right I have to do little work next years. That is the same for the caravans: last year and this year it is a lot of work to get the caravans I bought ready for rent but when that is done it is not so much work anymore.
Also I have another website in a niche. I always thought it would be a good idea to restructure companies but have never done anything with it (except trying to get a mentor which was worth 100's of millions of Euro's, which I actually got a drink with and almost succeeded in getting as a mentor). A good friend of mine told me internet was the thing and especially information products. After a year of him repeating this I decided to combine restructering and internet and I bought a small website in a niche. I had the copy/texts changed and during time, the amount of visitors doubled. I than had a salespage with downloadpage made for an ebook and noticed that approx. 25 people per month clicked the downloadpage. I have someone write an ebook and next week it will be done. I expect to get at least 200 Euro's in sales from that. It would be good for my motivation. I already know what I want to do to scale it to something that will hopefully make me financially independant. For now it's just hopes, the next weeks reality will kick in...
Best regards,
Rudy
