Roblox Game Forge A Sword

Hey Fastlaners, it's Alexis here in the forum so in the last few months I've built a Roblox game called Forge A Sword basically Forge A Sword has a similar style to Grow A Garden with the huge success of Grow A Garden on Roblox I decided to try my shot and follow the trend and capitalise on it. I didn't want to think much about a great amazing game idea just a good MVP that could sell pretty much quick and has enough potential to be prosperous

So I decided to make a simple game that would only took some months to do and with my level of scripting on Roblox, I'm trying to be a faster scripter so I can mass produce much faster than usual. I've fixed some bugs and right now I'm looking for editor to promote my game and I found one which I would pay 31 USD we started a youtube channel with the Forge A Sword game and the first video went to 907 views at the current moment. So yeah the problem is I don't have a job at the moment so I can't definitely pay forever the editor and therefore my game has to generate profit so that I could payback the investment I've made in my own game. I spent like 100 $ for my own Roblox game on the ads + 31 USD $ in the editor. So right now, I think I will agree with the editor to pay for like 62 USD a week just so I can last a little bit longer in the long run.

So right now in my fastlane journey I've tried to find the niche I want to all in and my niche seems to be Roblox. I've tried multiple niche such as Day Trading in the past, having a youtube channel, trying a tiktok account etc. etc. I tried video editing. But then I understood that the most important aspect of business is to all in on one thing and become a master of it. I also spent like more than 2-3k trying to learn how to make money and the process of trying to learn how to make money and the people always tell me that you have to be willing to lose money before to make money you have to be a loser before becoming a winner and that millionaire lost thousands to be millionaires and billionaires lost millions to be billionaire. The problem is that I invested money just for the feeling of feeling good and thinking that I was courageous in doing so and there lie I was fooling myself. So right now, I'm trying to learn how to do more logical decisions and I should use the Matrix decision that MJ DeMarco made in his own book The Millionaire Fastlane that I recently borrowed from the library.

Alright so for my game to improve I would need the help of some members here and from the discussion I've seen in the past I saw that @Andy Black seems to have kids who enjoy playing Roblox and if he doesn't mind have his kids try out my game. So right now this is my 5th Roblox game I've did in the market and the reason why the 4 last Roblox game didn't succeed is that basically I was ignorant on how to market myself and look out at the right editor or youtube influencer to promote my game. As I mentionned in a previous thread about my Farmland dream is I know someone a very successful youtuber that I am speaking to is called ThePhilosophicalGamer who has 35.6k subscribers at the current moment. And this guy shootouted me quite often in one of his videos. So with his massive influence it would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s the current traction:

• 2.5k visits so far (mostly from my $100 spent).
• That gives me ~20x visits/$ invested, which I think shows decent potential.
• At the time I was impulsive and didn’t fix all the bugs yet. Now that I have, I’m ready to test marketing again — this time with stronger foundations.

My next move: PhilosophicalGamer (35.6k subs) is planning a Let’s Play of my game. That could be a serious visibility boost.

My question: What’s the smartest way to leverage that momentum? Should I…

• Build a Discord community before the video drops?
• Run a small ad campaign at the same time to amplify it?
• Reach out to 2-3 more small creators to stack the exposure?

Once again I've took action and I don't regret it. Each step I take is getting me closer to know the answer of how to be a successful producer
