Rewriting your plan

As I sit here completely rewriting my plan for the third time, I wounder how often others do the same? Or do you just tweak it as you go? Often do you go back and critically analyze your plan to make sure its inline with your goals?

As I continue to grow and learn of new things in the investment world, I find myself adjusting my plan to new concepts. I have specified my goals better, but they have not changed. Only the meat. How I get to my goals has changed.

I know there are threads similar in nature, but I felt this was different enough for a new thread.
