i am new to this site, please excuse me for any mistake.
I have 2 houses (one primary residence and other rental property) under my name and now i bought 3rd house. If i put my 3rd house under corporation name, i have few doubts
1). is 50% cap rate applicable?
2). how are the landlord-tenant laws for corporation? Is there any Canadian government web site where these laws are stated?
3). if my 3rd house tenant sue me, can they come after my other 2 houses which are under my name or vice versa?
4). How does the down payments work for corporation? am i entitled to charge an interest from not yet registered corporation on the down payment that i give from my personal account?
5). i am thinking of getting a secured credit line on my 3rd house, how can i use this credit line under corporation?
