Has anyone read it???

I just finished it a few nights ago....
heres a wiki link to more general info about him.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Lauriston_Livermore#Favorite_Book

I found some excellent insights in his book.

this is from wiki. During his lifetime, Livermore gained and lost several multi-million dollar fortunes. Most notably, he was worth $3 million and $100 million after the 1907 and 1929 market crashes.

I am hoping I can learn from his lessons in this book to make me a better trader and to not make the same mistakes he made during his trading life...

he wrote other books as well as had several books written about him. Im about to go on a hunt for pdf's lol...

I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite parts about the book was how he mentioned the market cannot be "manipulated" in the normal sense of the word. Operators can attempt to create activity and "demand" for a stock but cannot ultimately "manipulate" it's price for a sustainable period of time.

Hi Carrie,

I just read this book and liked it alot.

If you liked this book, may i suggest "ugly americans"

It is based on a real life trader but the names were changed and some drama was added.

It will be made into a movie soon.
