Hey guys 24 y.o moved to UK few years ago. A C++ finance developer by day
and Android app developer by night. Currently working on a game of mine started at uni.
Absolutely love coding and reading books (from psychology, philosophy to online business startups),
mostly listening to audiobooks on the way to work. Its pretty awesome to connect with people who think differently.
During my years at uni everyone was studying hard .. until one thing came clear to me, they are not
learning to get knowledge they are learning to get good grades and land a job.
(Students came telling me that I should not ask teachers questions concerning extra material
not being on the exam paper, guess it was quite naive to think everyone came to uni
to learn). The people who came to learn however quit in a years time. (I couldn`t do that since
I am not a citizen and will get kicked out of the country)
Long story short, soon realising I am no match for competition in mobile games,
they have teams against one person (who is no pro either) resulted in a dilemma,
to try and make a book website (loads of people on the forum speak about reading
and recommending books) or continue mobile development and change something to
reduce competition).
My goal is to earn a passive income large enough to own anything I like,
the rest of my life I want to spend volunteering (food/shelter for poor people in 3rd world countries),
traveling, learning and socialising with people alike.
I am more than happy to give advice to anyone doing computer science courses
(University or college is not a bad thing if you do it right)
