I had mentioned trying to post the breakdown of the structure setup the "specialist" that I had been meeting with, put together. If I can make that happen, would you be willing to comment on it Dianne?
His theory is of the "divide and conquer". Both specialists said the best alternative is to put a few properties into many LLC's. But the one who's breakdown I'd like to post, took it further by placing LP's in place as the property owner, the LLC's would manage the LP's. The Lp's would be owned by percentage and be irrevocable (trusts?). It all seemed extremely cumbersome and required me to relinquish ownership almost totally to my wife. I haven't done anything and started doing my own research (hence the thread) because he scared me into thinking that I had two choices for complete protection: his plan.....or anything else would be inferior.
I really am confused as to the right thing to do and how far I really need to take it. Like I said previously, I'm more concerned with outside creditors than tenants.
Do I put them all in one, spread them out in multiple LLC's........AHHHHH :bgh:
