Went for an early morning drive to run some errands.

Went to get a car wash and had to snap this pic. It led to deep thought. This "view" was a dream years ago. Driving on my own schedule was a dream years ago. Waking up when I want to was a dream years ago. Now it's all my reality. It's really crazy how this universe rewards those that have a burning desire to succeed.

Sorry for the short rant/brag but if someone that is going through something is reading this, just know that I'm no one special. I wasn't smart enough for med school. I wasn't satisfied with normal for a 9-5. I just wanted to succeed so freaking bad. Out of dozens of failed businesses, I have two that really pulled me up and they didn't come until AFTER many failed attempts.View attachment 36940

Yup, preaching the Slowlane to the plebs while getting rich in the Fastlane ... Dave didn't get to afford a $15M house because he cut up his credit cards and waited 40 years for his portfolio to grow. SMH.

I don't want to play poker, but there's a tabletop game simulator on Steam that includes cards, dice, etc. Among the features: if you're losing too badly and have to recover your dignity, you can flip the table.

Aug 15 2016 - Aug 19 2019 (when my business started)

2016 I was at my lowest point in life due to a bad sports gambling problem. Aug 15 2016, I'll never forget this day, was when my last bet actually won and I was able to clear all the debt on my accounts that resulted from the gambling. If I had lost this day, I wouldn't be here, I guarantee you that. My life would've been SO different. I don't even want to imagine it.

By the way, for those interested, here's my betting card leading up to that day. This brings back so many bad memories... remember, this had been going on for 2 years (2014 - 2016). 2016 was when it got really bad. Like REALLY BAD. I remember days betting on Russian soccer teams that I didn't know existed. I just had to bet.

Had a cool little magical moment last night, met a trash panda scaling a tree and offered him a cookie, grabbed it straight outta my hand!

While I didn't communicate verbally with the animal, I tried with my body language to show that I'm not a threat, there's something very special about interacting with wild animals...

Dude retirement homes are terrible. My grandmas husband is in one and she found out they have not been doing anything at all to take care of him, and they have been putting him on triple sleeping medications every day. They’re just keeping him drugged up and in bed all the time!
The list of medications had 14 items on it and this place costs over $5000 per month.
When she visits, she changes his clothes, makes his bed, feeds him and helps him. She said they never do anything. He has Alzheimer’s. It appears they are taking advantage of them.

If you can start a half decent nursing home (chain), you’ll be a billionaire. These people SUCK

edit: OH and there is a year long WAITING LIST to get into this horrible place.

Doodles, writing vertically, hand drawn checkboxes or arrows
connecting concepts.

I do use digital apps but many times
just to save something i wrote on paper before.
