Usually high margin has some sort of entry barrier, with skill being one of them. If not everyone will rush in to erode the margin. Ultimately it’s supply and demand. Nvidia has a gross margin of 8-900 percent. Their customers didn’t like it because they have no choice.

The barrier to entry on cleaning and cutting grass is probably perception. As long as most young people believe that the gold is in a career or a laptop at home business, they will ignore outdoor hands-on business… until a day it doesn’t.

I don’t think that kind of margin for cleaning, painting and cutting grass can last forever. A pivotal moment might come in 5-10 years.
