Hi

First of all, I want to say that I love the MFL - I ve wanted to read it for a long time.

Im looking at changing my mindset but I'm stuck.

DeMarco said that its selfish to start a business to make more money or to start a business to get into the fastlane for your own needs - but the attitude is to think about service. He also said that he wanted to be able to by a Lamborghini.

I was wondering how do you reconcile the two? I haven't finished the book yet so he many elaborate on that going forward.

Of course you want your business to profit. But "I want to create a highly profitable business" is not a good way to start a business. Focus on fulfilling your (potential) customers' needs, and the profit will come.

In order to get what you want, help others get what they want.

What are you doing to get the ball rolling? I had questions like these, but I wasn't taking action... it was a mental masturbation you could say. Are you action faking or producing real results. Time will tell but I hope your on the winning side!
