So even though I've already begun my journey, I thought I'd make a progress thread here, and maybe get some feedback/encouragement from some wealthy people. I'm still beginning, and you'll be able to catch most of my journey.
My plan is to begin with internet marketing, and naturally go from there until I'm a millionaire. Sounds like a lot of work, but I think with the right steps it could be done quickly. For example, I'm using my money wisely. Some I'm spending, but I reinvest a good amount, I'm going to start investing in the stock market, spending money on educating myself, buying assets, etc. etc. etc.
So here's a quick overview of where I'm starting at with internet marketing:

- Campaign #1- a basic affiliate marketing campaign. clickbank product getting traffic from long tail keywords mostly. Plans to add a little Web 2.0 traffic soon. Made two sales in the $50-90 range.
- Campaign #2- a failing affiliate marketing campaign. it's a blog targeting 2-word keywords, clickbank ad in the sidebar. Major lack of traffic. Using adwords to drive traffic, as well as the trickle of Web 2.0 visits (1-2/day). Adding dynamic ads (HopAds, AdSense, selling backlinks) to get some revenue. Then probably selling on Flippa.
- Campaign #3- brand new. Using a LOT of content for this method. Should take 3 weeks to complete, and covers every area of affiliate marketing i know. Not clickbank- it's a private affiliate network. Hopefully this will make a lot of money for the amount of work I'm putting in.
- Campaigns #4- using AdWords to drive traffic straight to affiliate products by bidding on product-specific keywords. This is more complex then it sounds- lots of bidding ways. Gotta stay on top and track everything
- Campaign #5- $80-100 side income/month from some AdSense blogs. Almost totally automated- maybe 2-3 min/daily spent checking stats.
- Campaign #6- plans in the making for an "affiliatenaire" campaign
- Campaign #7- plans in the making for a clone of Campaign 1, in a different market
