Print out a massive calendar of your year

Just wanted to share something I started doing which has helped me.

I printed a massive calendar of the year and put it on my wall.

• Each column is a quarter.
• Every night I cross out a day.
• I put stickies on big events.

It helps me be very aware of where I'm at in the year. Q1 is almost over

Yep. The year has been flying by. The big x's are like a fog that keeps eating up the calendar

Also you mention "consequently our lives are". To the left of the year calendar I have a calendar I created called the moricalendar.

it's a visual representation of my life. 52x80. each box is a week. every Sunday I cross out another box.

here's what a 25 year old's life looks like assuming I live to 80

Would be a good idea to enforce new habits as well. Can't write the X until you do some task each day (read 20 minutes, meet someone new, etc.)

Financially speaking, as a part of your "scorecard" you could have at the beginning of each quarter: Net Worth: ______ and Cash-Flow: ______ to track your progress and be accountable to how much you're growing financially. I track this monthly (and weekly now) and it's a good reminder to keep on course.
