Today I got a offer from someone using CertifiedOfferService.com (is that legit?), it's pretty low so I'm going to make a counteroffer.

Can anyone offer advice on selling domain names? How can I appraise it to make sure I get the most?

I wouldn't sell it to network solutions unless they were paying out the a$$ for it! A bit biased? Nah. lol
Sorry, but they've screwed me a couple times.

More importantly, what is your goal here? Flipping a domain? List it on an auction site from a number if DN service sites.....there was another thread about that, search the ebiz section. Jorge had some great recommendations of a couple I had never used before.

namedrive, moniker, sedo, etc....

Actually, I think a person made an offer through them.

How did they screw you?

If they took my counteroffer, would it be safe to sell it through them?

I just want to flip it, I'll never use it.

I didn't mean it that way, I just dislike them for domain name services. As long as the payment method of choice is secured through a reputable company, I don't see why it would be a problem.

It would appear, unless you were listed with NS services, someone paid 20 bucks to for them to send you that offer.

As for buying/selling, I've never done business with them in that manner....I'm sure someone else could give a better recommendation, as I've only done business with Sedo for dumping domains. Never had a problem by the way.

Yeah, I just heard they are being sued for their domain buying malpractices.

I looked a little more into Certified Offer Services and it seems like they are very legit and some big business is done with them.

I just made a counteroffer, hopefully they accept.
