Posting other peoples content on your FB page

Quick question for the FB power users... What effect do you think it has on your audience if you mix up your content with posts/videos/links shared from other people (even your competitors)?

Ultimatley you are sending traffic to them BUT from your audience point of view on FB you are still posting interesting and relevant content so your engament levels will increase. In FB eyes you are doing good and will be rewarded with better organic reach (i guess).

So - should you only post your own content linking to your own web properties OR should you mix it up with relevant content from competitors?
