Would personal training be fastlane at all? Having my own business and traveling to do in-home sessions rather than just at a gym? I know it is most likely not going to make me millions, but possibly enough to live comfortably and by running it myself I choose the hours of the sessions I do and what I charge as long as I am talented enough and the demand is there then there shouldn't be a problem. Demand is almost always there as people want to stay fit and in shape and the in-home service should help as it is more convenient for people and during winter many people don't like to go out in the weather.
I understand it is lacking scale unless I were to open up my own fitness clubs, but the convenience of creating my own hours, deciding the cost of my services and working for myself seem like a huge plus itself to trade in the 5 for 2 work week and without having to work 8-10 hours a day. Eventually have my own website for my business where I can create more leads, have a blog, and generate more revenue through that with advertising etc.
To start I figured i would work in a health club or athletic club as a personal trainer where clients would be given to me and that way I could build my name up for myself and if they like my services then I could give them my business card and slowly start my business that way. Within a few months to a year I should have enough clients to go off on my own plus word of mouth from clients would be a huge way to build more business.
These are just some of my thoughts and ideas I have come up with lately. What are your guys thoughts and ideas on this? Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated!!
