Fresh business idea here that I've been playing with for about a month. Going to compete in the overcrowded space of low price and fast turnaround website design. Why? Because I can offer one of the best solutions in this space, can actually provide extremely fast turnaround, and it's little to no burden to me. Adding in a regional spin. Here's what I'm doing by the end of the week:
- 7 page website w/ blog (3 articles)
- Two packages
- Two maintenance packages
- It's end-to-end, so I maintain full control of hosting and the website itself; the package differentiators may be onboarding/training vs no onboarding/training
Probably $400-$900 range; I'll let Gemini Deep Research figure that out though.
The actual solution: easily maintainable, easily updateable, compliant, fast turnaround, etc. This isn't a "FaST wEbSiTe DeSiGn" business service. The brand itself is a creative experience; that is the differentiating factor. People will buy into the effort & creative spin put behind the brand itself and while they're hooked onto that, they'll fall into the pricing page.
Ideally, this can be a low maintenance play that I can offload, hire interns from a local college for, and sit in the $1k to $5k MRR mark depending on the packages. More focused on locking in 1-2 year contracts than upfront pricing.
Will start running ads to the website by the end of the week. Will share an update next Sunday. Ideally, start onboarding customers in November. Let's go.
