I know a few of you invest in options. Could someone recommend a few books that teach investing in options?

Lots of basic free websites such as:
http://www.redoption.com/education.php
http://888options.com/

If your city is on the list go here:
http://www.optionplanet.com/assembled/list.html

The books I mention below are more advanced and not easy reading if you haven't grasped the basics. Once you understand these books, you are as good as anyone else out there.

Options Volatility and Pricing by Sheldon Natenberg
Options as a Strategic Investment by Lawrence McMillan

How do you invest in a decaying asset?

I like to consider it investing in risk management instruments. :smx9:

I consider it investing because I am trading currency for an asset or position of assets that I believe will be worth more than the currency I have invested in some point in time.

It is important for folks to understand that options are a decaying asset, but I don't think options are unique to this slip of the tongue. I hear talking heads on TV telling "investors" that cash is a position during times of uncertainty.

Easy ... sell options. The investor profits from the decay. The most rudimentary form of this is covered calls. The most complicated, nakeds.
