I can't talk about the UK, but in the US, they're all franchises. In other words, you do not have any control.

How would you make money? What are your main income streams?

I can think of no worse business.

Like investing in a low-paying job.

Your best case scenario is paying bills and repeating for 40 years.

Worse case is you make $5 hour with 60 hour weeks and are stuck with a huge franchise debt.

I would say the behind the scenes invisible structure is actually exactly that.

I walked into a postal annex once and these 2 ladies paid $200k to open a franchise that probably just pays them like a low paying job. While postal annex makes money without even risking anything.

All to just sell beanie baby’s, copies, notaries and collect 15 cents in commission per shipped box.
