so I was speaking to some successful individuals recently, they are in multiple different business fields, I know a lot of us say just pick one thing and do it and that was my mindset and I asked them why they don't just focus on one area, they told me for them it's like moving the chains on the football field for each area, they move one chain on one football field closer to the goal and then focus on the next one and eventually they are successful on all, or one field will breakthrough and help them fund the others.
I read the book and I know it's better to just take a good idea and go with it and forget everything else as I don't want to end up with just ideas and no action. I like how these people work as I have an iPhone notes section full of potential app ideas, blue collar businesses that I would like to grow from doing the work myself and scale up by employing others, real estate investment goals, plans to open bars and would like to Persue them all and yet I sit here without having even filed my llc/s Corp papers, in fear that if I chose one It may not allow me to Persue the others.
One of the points they made is that if you look at LA, there's a lot of Actors/actresses that hedged all their efforts to making it big, and now they are just waiters, slowlaners as they didn't have other plans or ventures that they were working on incase they weren't successful. And it kinda makes sense as if you work on 3 projects, one is more likely to be accepted by market conditions/your more skilled at it/timing etc etc.
I read and understand most successful people have multiple streams of income and it's my ambition aswell.
Does anyone here work on multiple goals at once and take a similar approach to the people I mentioned above, for example:developing real estate at the same time as working on an app, as well as planning to starting your own beer brand? And if so, how do you advise someone works on multiple projects at once and how do you divide your time? (Ps I know that I should take action and ideas are worthless without action, im aiming this at, Can you have multiple ventures at once? If not right away at what point is it ok to create new ventures)
