So I have an idea for a new type of social networking site that involves checking in. What it is, is a social networking site where people check-in to certain places and depending on where you check in, the site recommends people who have similar interests and also recommends websites with the content that you're interested in.

So if you check in at a wine tasting event, it will recommend other people who have checked in to similar events for you to friend them, start discussion groups and will also recommend websites that coincide with that interest.

The reason I'm putting my idea out in the open is because I want to gain the valuable feedback of people who have "been there done that" and to also hold myself accountable because now you all know what I'm trying to do.

But anyway, its a simple idea but an idea is nothing without execution! I would love as much feedback as possible. You are all very knowledgeable and I value your opinions more than you know.
