The New 2020 Corvette is here with some HUGE changes...

New Design...
New Mid Engine...

I owned a Corvette once in the last 90's and said I would never buy one ever again as I found them too tempormental and ubiquitous.

Looks like they're going after McLaren, Lambo, and Ferrari styling.

Looks pretty sharp!

Very nice, wonder what it drives like...

The only car I've ever truly desired is the Bugatti Veyron...

I'm not a huge fan of those photos. I think other photos make it look better:

But honestly, either way, I kinda liked the previous generation better:

I friggin' love it. I liked the C7's for the first time in a loooooooong line of the iterations & pending a drive, I love the styling on the 8's. I would, however, never buy the first gen of any new engine an american car company puts out, haha (but I think they're releasing it with the tride & true LS2 first -which is smart).

Now if it was just AWD...

The LT2 it comes with sounds like it leaves some room for modification. If it's like most sports cars these days I wont be able to fit comfortably. It's sharp for sure. strap a couple turbos to it and you have a serious street fighter on your hands. Chevy has always left room for modification and I don't see that changing any time soon. for under $60k I would trade my Tahoe in if I can ft

Looks sharp. I like it.
Only 30 yrs for GM to realize the mid-engine Fiero was killed too early..

A mid-engine Vette could alienate many Vette fans. The price change is minimal, but they are used to selling tens of thousands per year. More than many sports cars on the market.

Many people, as Red said, won't buy a first year model, American or not- I wouldn't either.

If the board gets nervous, if/after seeing initial sales drop, the design will be short lived.
Then..death by cost-cutting and feature reduction, to minimize anticipated future losses..

The Vette won't die..but their decisions could make it rough for 3-5 years if they play it safe..

That looks sweet! Had no idea they were going mid-engine.

It's Ferrari territory they are getting to. Corvette was always front engine so this is something of a revolution. At least they don't go hybrid or electric. I would definitely buy one if they could keep the price as the old one.
