Non-disclosure Agreement ???

So after i failed to find an investor/partner here, i decided to post in other forums which led me to great success.
I have found a couple of people (some known and respected, some unknown) who were willing to develop the website for me in exchange for equity.

Now the problem here is that i never share my ideas with anyone and i don't plan to do so unless i am 100% sure that the idea cannot be stolen.

After doing some research on google/forums i found out that an NDA could be used to protect the idea, but someone said that even with an NDA there are still people "stealing" the idea.

Is this true? Are there any other options?
