I like the idea of having a news bot on my new forum, just like on the fastlane forum. I figure it could get my post count up a little bit. No one likes to join a forum with little going on.

Any ideas how it is done or what plugin or hack is used? Also, are there legal issues around using other peoples rss content as a forum post?
