Hi everyone,

My name Is Luke, I'm in the UK and just joined the forum yesterday.

I am nearly 40 years old and work for myself as a design engineer and although I earn very good money my family are still dependant upon me being able to not only work everyday, but also work as many hours as I can. As much as I do enjoy my job and always expect and WANT to work, I know I could be a lot more effective with my time and where I put my efforts.

I have a few ideas, one of which I have had for 4 years and have worked on it on and off. I always end up at a sticking point which means neither my website, book or social platforms are finished and ready for deployment. I have spent a lot of time focussing /stressing about whether this will actually make any money let alone enough for me to cover my monthly outgoings and concentrate my efforts on it full time and this means I always lose sight of the end goal and go back to the daily grind instead.

I read the millionaire fastlane last year and it really changed my opinion on my sticking points and made me realise why they were difficult to overcome and also, probably the biggest reason I still essentially work for a wage everyday. I have started to address each of my sticking points and have stopped focussing on ROI but on how much value my message could provide someone else. I am just over halfway through UNSCRIPTED and what an awesome complement / follow up this book is to fastlane. I really feel like I've finally got my game head on now, I've realised that the MLM / Get Rich Quick / Email Millions crap is just crap and the real way forward is to concentrate on improving my own skill-set in order to overcome obstacles and provide massive value wherever I can.

Anyway, I've waffled on for too long, but it's great to be here and I'm looking forward to reading and connecting with everyone and hopefully I can provide YOU with some value at some point!
