Okay, I created a shopify tool that can take products from any website even if it’s not shopify and my script runs and gets products from that. Almost done, core logic and testing are done. Just a little UI left, should finish in 2 days max.
The main thing is I integrated many features. Even my 2 scripts scraped 1005 products, but in the end, I found my product categories are not relevant according to Shopify Product Taxonomy. So, I used a GitHub open source shopify Product Taxonomy CSV file with all categories. I also added a feature where, when it scrapes products, it automatically adds categories that suit the products.
I’m planning to integrate AI as well into this. That can write seo titles and descirition that totaly change product for user just. take product from the website, and also use api to create mock up image for that
I need two advices:
Should I add more features and make it a complete web-based SaaS app?
OR
Should I sell it as a web based app that can take products from any website and create the CSV, charging some price
Now my biggest fear is, if I create and add all features, how do I market and get customers? should I partner with someone who takes a percentage but markets my product?
Please guide me on this project pros and cons.
