Hello Fastlane Entrepreneurs,
I'm Steven and I just read the Fastlane millionaire in two days and it was awesome. I have always felt that the slowlane financial plan is not the right path to wealth and now after reading this book and Mark Cuban's book I have more insight into the mindset of two entrepreneurs that have really made it. One important point that comes to mind from the book is that wealth and becoming a millionaire is a PROCESS, not an EVENT. Have a producer mindset, not a consumer. I view the world so differently now, an abundance of ideas and money are out there.
My Fastlane road so far: I chose an industry and I'm contacting and interviewing as many owners as I can to find their pain and extract some ideas. Had some good responses from the market. So far I have extracted a few software ideas which I want to validate with other owners.
Where I am currently:
Working part-time at a Medium sized IT company (I have direct contact with the owner), doing their sales and marketing. I'm working on their website and internet marketing. Also working at one of their kiosks taking in computers for repairs and selling customers New PC set-ups. (removing their junkware, installing anti-virus, etc.). Learning a lot about trying to sell people a service for $99 which essentially is turning their laptop on and removing and installing some software. If there is a need in the market though it can be sold. Sometimes I have to create the need, haha.
Education: Attending western governors university studying business IT management. Reading blogs and books I can about business, sales, and mindset. Member of The Foundation.
Looking forward to uncovering some more gold in this forum and contributing value to others where I can.
