Mortage Brokers and Agents

I've been self studying in apartment investing for about a year, and now I'm ready to make the jump. The problem I'm facing now is locating reliable and proven brokers and agents. That being said; I would like someone to PM me a broker and agent that they have worked with in my area (Metro Phoenix). That would help me greatly in my new found adventure. Thanks in advance.

Go to your investors meetings and ask around.

I do; I ask everywhere I can. Why limit to just a few resources?

Goto Meetup.com and find a real estate investor group. There should be several.

Accusations against sub prime mortgage brokers are lying around the finance market for their part in the sub prime mortgage market collapse. Sub prime mortgages became available to a new section of the market that could never before afford to buy their own homes. Watch out though; many borrowers eligible for mainstream loans are getting caught in the sub prime mortgage nightmare when they never need be. It is confusing when the lending criteria varies from lender to lender.
