Hey guys. Long time member, haven't posted in a while and haven't utilized this area of the forum at all.

I'm having a mindset issue when it comes to money. Pretty much I'm stuck in the sane cycle. I make money, spend it, get a job, quit, or get fired, lose everything start over again. --I've been working as a website developer for the past 6 years. I've been doing well-ish now I decided to start up a company but I'm having issues scaling it / putting in the work.

It's like I don't have motivation to make money. It's probally because I have none so it's a snow ball effect. When you have it you have motivation to make more. Same with woman. So my issue is, how can I apply the same motivation to business as I did picking up woman. If you know my history I was having 2-3 chicks over a night, had up to 22 numbers in a day from OLD, had 13 girls over in a week. Pretty much for 5-6 years of OBSESSING over pick up / seduction I did damn well. Now I have to apply that obsession to business and money.

Any advice?

What's with people now a days? Do you have an issue im asking for advice? Why reply if you have nothing of value to say? - Of course you're some smart a$$ kid. - Funny first second I saw your picture in my alerts that you responded(no idea who you are just initial thoughts), my first thought was there should be a sub-forum / section dedicated to people 30 and older who have the mental maturity to have civil discussions.

Does anyone have any real advice? Thank you

Not the point bro...Not the point. Let me dumb it down for you...I came here asking for advice, legit advice since I notice a bad pattern...Right?

It's like the saying, if you got nothing nice to say don't say it. - So you F*ckin erked me. Simple as that. People like YOU make forums, social media, men look bad. You get that? Think fist then shoot.(and yes I am consciously being an a**hole to you now on purpose)

Well, you're not really asking for advice. Just seems like you're bragging about all the women you slept with.

Why don't you ask something specific about the business you're working on, instead of questioning motivation issues?

There's lots of threads dealing with mindset and motivation on here, bring something new to the table.

This is what I mean you don't get it. I was COMPARING my motivation level from when I was OBESSED with pick up. The "bragging" was me simply showing how well I did to give you an example. Meaning I put my damn work in for 6 years, read pick up routines, went out 5x a night....and I should be applying that same obsession / motivation that I had with pick up to business.

I am simply trying to connect the dots in my own brain

It's like I don't have motivation to make money.
Wait...what? You want us to "motivate you" to start making money?

If you don't want to make money, then don't make money. What's wrong with that?

I mean, I could never understand the "please motivate me" type of whining. Either you want something, or you don't
If you do, you will do everything to achieve it. If you do not truly want it, then even having Tony Robbins and Mark Cuban as your two dads won't help.
I can't even imagine logging in to a bodybuilding forum and asking members to motivate me to build muscle. How silly is that? Go to sports car forum and ask people how do you start liking sport cars because you don't.

When you have it you have motivation to make more.

I cannot relate to that. I actually started feeling less motivated at some point, when I already had my recurring passive income in place. Now working 14 hours a day is much harder for me than it used to be and I just don't do it.
I felt crazy motivated when I was living with my parents and had nothing. Looks like you are too comfortable. Maybe you just don't need any more money than you have right now.

Same with woman.
Can't relate to that either. I would always lose motivation for approaching and meeting multiple women when I was either in a good relationship or have a few interesting dating options. Maybe you should just keep having a job and continue following your passion which is clearly seduction.

Why do you want to make money?? What problems would getting more money solve in your life? Perhaps you do not want to be that rich but you want autonomy or freedom.

Probably the woman thing was because you were good at it and wanted approval, perhaps those same drivers are not applicable to the mindset you have around money.

Despite your bragging, I'll chime in haha

(the PUA stuff is cringe worthy at best and damaging to the forum at worst. Also, nobody really gives a shit how many women you've done the horizontal mambo with, ya know?)

Anyway,

Money by itself is a HORRIBLE motivator. You end up working just hard enough to get the bills paid and reduce your financial stress.

Ever notice how this forum is obsessed with finding your "why"?

Yeah, there's a reason for that.

Find a better "why" than "make money"

Freedom.

Control.

Security.

Legacy.

Providing value.

Helping parents as they age.

Etc, etc, etc...

When you have it you have motivation to make more. Same with woman.

Wait, what?

First of all that's wrong with money - seeing any kind of success usually drives folks to stop caring because they are doing "well enough". There's effort involved in going from good to great that most people struggle with.

Second of all that's wrong with women - you are describing a womanizer or sex addict. All I learned from your post about women is that I should probably use sanitizer after shaking your hand.

Any advice?

You need a lifestyle change.

Ignoring the ridiculous pick-up nonsense, you are living the life of a sidewalker. You are spending what you make, getting hired and fired all the time, only looking at what's directly in front of you. You aren't even in the slowlane yet.

You don't need motivation or dedication. You need an attitude adjustment and a change in lifestyle.

Go pick up "Awaken the Power Within" by Anthony Robbins and give it a read. Twice.
Re-read Millionaire Fastlane . Seriously consider what you're doing with your life.
Go pick up a book by Dave Ramsay and learn how to stop spending every dollar you make.

You need to identify the negative aspects of your life and put a hard stop to that shit.

Once you start asking how you can help others (and genuinely mean it when you say it) then you'll be well on your way to getting your shit together.
Right now it seems like the Crissco show, and nobody's buying a ticket to that.

Also, stop being an a$$:

Of course you're some smart a$$ kid.
Let me dumb it down for you
The "bragging" was me simply showing how well I did

If you don't like what someone says, or you feel insulted/offended by them, just ignore them.
Or address is calmly and politely. Don't throw insults like a child back at them.

Grow up dude.

You define success with woman as having gone through a lot of them.
That is probably your approach to money also... hence you used that up too.

You will need to switch up that mindset to keep money around. If you just use everything up for pleasure right away and then move on to the next thing you will never build anything.

You see your "success" with women as the ideal approach to changing your money issues but I see it as the initial problem.

Man, you're comparing apples and oranges. Business is a lot more difficult than picking up girls effortlessly on tinder and pof. You can't even compare the two. I think your biggest issues are your distractions, you need to cut all of that out and just laser focus on business only.

Stop thinking with your genitals and use your brain. You have displayed an extreme lack of maturity. You shouldn't have to rely on others to provide motivation. You wouldn't be here if you didn't actually desire money.

Find your why. Would you rather live in the sidewalk and be a womanizer? Or would you rather pursue a life of freedom in both finances and time?

I must have missed the forum announcement which stated the forum is now a men's locker-room.

And now we know why there aren't many women at this board.

The lack of maturity and awareness (outside of one's ego and selfishness) is astounding.

But dude, this thread you created is funny. There were so many unnecessary things you added. Haha.. Am not picking on you though.
But you definitely need a professional help. I would just add this, do what you enjoy and be discipline enough to be consistent.
As for the ladies, knock yourself out. If you need advice about that, then you may as well forget every other thing I said.

Hey all. Let me explain my situation quickly. Im -$200 in my account, I moved 3k miles away from home, alone, as I'm sure a lot did. I'm building up my business, I'm in physical pain everyday from a compressed disk in my neck, massive loads of stress and it all adds up after a while

As for the whys they are easy. I want a home, a car, a future, stability finanitally, and yes even if I'm not a millionaire it's okay, but I have the vision I will get there. Plus the skills. I've also been going through a slight depression the past 4 months, had to ask my mother, yes my mother for money so I wouldn't become homeless. And yes I know this is all complaining but it's reality, it's a lot of stress that hit me at once and I'm having issues handling it. - like I said it's motivation and my mindset. That is the issue, and yes I know I'm looking at money wrong in ways. It's like the guy who thinks he can win a woman over talking about money when in realty he has nothing else going on in his life(He has no Value beside his money). You will be attracting the wrong type of woman, correct? Yes. - That is what I mean by mindset.

I came here for advice. I honestly don't understand why I was shitted on, and honestly to me the reason I don't post more often Bc it's usually the blind leading the blind, and as to the posters who asked me questions, input a valid and logical opinion. I thank you. That's all I wanted since i started this thread.

Also to clear the record AGAIN. I was comparing how good I am at getting woman / meaning I put in the work and effort into pick up and now I need the SAME OBESSION I had for pick up into business and I know I will kill it. - so just because most here are ugly, overweight and trying to compensate with money when I pulled it off with no car, no money, living with my parents in my 20s, don't put it on me. I put my work in in that area. I suggest some of you read up on seduction and obsess over it like it :) maybe you'll get the same results, who knows.

Realty is we all acted like assholes. Difference is, I, a single person sturred up the pot with one post, pretty sad when you look at most responses to a simple "cry for help" with money / motivation / mentorship(?) ain't it? Anyway, thanks everyone for the positive posts and also the majority of the assholes who responded, you have shown me why I don't visit this forum much.

All the best

By same results do you mean the $-200 bank balance and borrowing money from my mom at the age of 30?

I'll pass.

Very ignorant, but valid answer. Again people miss what im saying here. The average person really is stupid, holy shit lol - All im getting is crap instead of actually breaking down what im saying. Im done with this lol you guys obviously dont have an open minded level of thinking.

If you have health insurance, I suggest seeing a mental health professional. Random people on a forum aren't going to be able to help you with this and it is the first thing you should address.
It's not a mental health issue, I am legitemitly bad with stress, give me a job that pays $2500 a month and im good. I have no worries since I know money is coming in consistently. Now money is up and down, im getting rejections left and right. Im barreling though, of course but its a lot to handle at once. - But like anything else, you push through it, figure out a way and this will all just be a funny story in 10 years.

I came here for advice.

You mean you came here for advice that you only wanted to hear? Any advice that doesn't conform to your narrative, and well... we get this...

so just because most here are ugly, overweight and trying to compensate with money when I pulled it off with no car, no money, living with my parents in my 20s, don't put it on me.

Bc it's usually the blind leading the blind

And yet, here you are asking the blind for help.

I honestly don't understand why I was shitted on

So not only are you blind, you're deaf.

MJ lock this thread please.

Why? I want to hear about all these women you have collected, perhaps in a trophy case?

Anyway, thanks everyone for the positive posts and also the majority of the assholes who responded, you have shown me why I don't visit this forum much.

Gee thanks, and the 6 women who visit this forum, I doubt they come back either.

Tell you what, start another thread seeking help and try sanitizing the douchebaggery from it and Ill lock this thread per your request.

If women are your motivation fine..

If you age 10 more years and do nothing about your money situation you will have zero, or low quality women and deep lingering regret of wasted time. Women don't like the 40 year old guy with a negative bank balance.

If you age 10 more years and don't touch women while greatly improving your money situation. Women won't be an issue, and you'll have something to be proud of. Women love the 40 year old guy with a heavy wallet and social skills, which you claim you already have.

If you don't start tomorrow its one more day to add to that lingering regret.

EDIT: 40 is just a placeholder and the first number that came to mind, could be 45-50-55-60, whatever.

OP, I'm probably the only one here with a tiny bit of similarity (lol) with you so listen carefully.

First off, when I came to this board, I read the forum rules. I knew that we tend to talk about our "stuff" whatever that may be so, yeah, I can let that pass a bit.

Here's where we are different...

You are being reactive. I don't see any proactive responses from you. I can see that you are trying. But being totally irked from someone replying to your thread in an offhand way tells me that you got to work on your attitude.

You got yourself in that situation. All you have to do is to admit your faults, and take responsibility for your life.

The first thing you have control of is your attention. And I don't see you having any control over yours. Work on that, then we'll be able to help you out.

Believe me, I've experienced much worse. I never complained. I just shut up and got to work.

Where is that taking me? The answer to that, you can think of as the reason why I'm the one telling it to you straight.

You can do that too.

Sort yourself out man. You don't know what you want. I've been there. You can clarify that.

Your current attitude is palpable, and since you're looking for advice on mindset, read some Jim Ron and Darren Hardy. Take a breather and go solo for now. Think things through. You'll be okay.
