Madoff suicide investor lost own money, too - U.S. business- msnbc.com

I raced against Thierry almost every weekend, I only knew him at the yacht club and through sailing, but he was a good guy. He was a good sailer, its a damn shame.


He is the second person I know who has commited suicide due to a business loss. The other was several years ago because he was lossing a very old family business.

I guess the damn media got a hold of another of my friends names and has been calling him constantly, he only knows him through sailing circles to. But the press is more interested in his investments. Thankfully they havn't contacted me.
