looking for pro's and con's of using a cms script for classifieds

I am updating my website to include a classified ads for real estate that owners and Realtors can post themselves. I want something I can customize and that is SEO friendly.

So far I see pros as

1. cost
2. time to get up and running
3. can be customized to a point
4. I am a novice when it comes to html, css, web design and seo
5. many scripts have backend support
6. Admin panel


Cons
1. May not have all the features I eventually want
2. I need to have traffic and adsense.
3. Many scripts may have security issues
4. I need to still hire a programmer to customize and install
5. must be able to work with a host server and support traffic
6. afraid i am going to waste money on something that will have problems

My goal is to have a site that is easy for users to post and view properties for sale across the US. I want to have a specified time for the listing and to expire after set time. It must be able to support ad sense as this may be my only revenue source so I will need seo support.

Any recommendations or ideas are appreciated
