I am looking for partner to help grow business. I've been in various businesses over 30 years, but never took them past "getting by" due to demands and personal limitations. I need someone with ambition, complementary skills, and willingness to commit their own capital. They should also be a people person with great management skills and tech savvy. I am none of those, but I know my business and product and can sell. I am also older and health and energy isn't what it was.
Currently in profitable niche furniture biz that is ripe for expansion- possible franchising. Gross margins are minimally 50%, with many going past 66%. I'm always worried about economy but I have kept overhead minimal with small showroom. My website generates lots of leads. But I would benefit greatly by opening additional showrooms giving me greater footprint and geographic visibility. Most importantly, economy of scale kicks in and the ability to share inventory amongst locations
So how do I go about finding the right partner?
