I was asked to review
Leadership And The Sexes
by
Michael Gurian and Barbara Annis
I groaned a bit because I expected a heavy scientific snoozefest.
I certainly didn't expect it to change my life.
I thought I knew a lot about men.
I have three brothers, male best friends, a hubby
but this book explained a LOT.
Heck, it explained stuff about men to my HUBBY.
Like how most men think spatially
which is why they tend to move around,
slam dunk paper into garbage bins,
throw squeeze balls
when they think.
Didn't SteveO say that he jogs when he has a problem?
(In contrast, I need stillness)
I read two business books a week
and I think this might be my second reco in a year.
That's how great this book is.
If you have a child of the opposite sex,
no, if you deal at ALL with the opposite sex,
this is a must read.
