At the age of 15, Lars Windhorst began his successful trading in assembled computers, using components which he had purchased at unusually favourable prices in the Far East. He was soon being celebrated by the media and politicians as an economic prodigy. Lars Windhorst accompanied the then German Chancellor Helmut Kohl as a model young entrepreneur on a trip to Asia. However, his rise was followed by a deep fall. Today the public prosecutor is conducting investigations against him because of suspicion of prevarication in an insolvency procedure, fraud, and share price manipulation.

At some point I admire this guy. He was 15 when he started his company and had great success at the beginning. He had the courage to do things other people would never do, and the determiniation to live his dreams.
But then he did a lot of things wrong, he was a little bit too greedy and I think he wasn't a fan of delayed gratification either. I'm sure that if he had been a little bit more pacient he would have billions today. We'll see what will come - he's 33 now...
