Laptop Help: Keyboard & Mouse Not Working At All (Even for BIOS)

Hello

I appreciate any help. This laptop is for my fastlane work so it sucks if I'll have to send it away

Problem:

• Laptop Keyboard & Mouse Not Working At All
• I cannot even enter Safe Mode or the BIOS (since the keys do not register)

Happened today after no significant changes except:

• Installed pro paid version of Avast & restarted the computer
• Have been travelling overseas lately and some of the screws had shaken loose - I tightened about 3 screws - still no fix

Other Notes:

• The computer boots to the Windows Login
• My external USB Mouse DOES work
• My external USB Keyboard DOES NOT work
• The Laptop Keyboard & Mouse DO NOT work

Tried Solutions:

• Several Restarts and Shut downs
• Removed Battery & AC Adapter (vice versa)
• Opened the back up to have a visual inspection (didn't see much)
• Un-mounted the Keyboard and checked the ribbon connections - were all good
