My Samsung S5 has slowed to pathetic in the past 2 weeks and none of the routine maintenance stuff seemed to work such as cold reboot, clearing excess files such as cache, downloads, photos. There has been no changes made to add or delete any apps
initially the various forums suggested bloatware was a possible issue. Thing is don't know which tool to trust and not going to download any program. Yet bloatware seems to be complicated to do manual removal. Decided to skip for later
Went on searching and really freaked out that Google could be ??abusing?? the Android platform in basic things like contact app and chrome browser

Any experience with AdBlocker?
Makes sense that Google might try to be sneaky since powerful tools like Gmail, Chrome, etc are given away "free" and yet have often wondered how they cover costs.
How to test if the claim of google being sneaky is true?
