You’ve taken the courses, you’ve learnt to code, heck you’ve even done the Gary Halbert challenge; yet still money is flowing like water in the sahara. So you get angry, it feels like to you’re pushing against an invisible barrier in you mind and you wonder, “Why oh why am I not a millionaire!!".
You’re angry! You post a new thread… "I’m going to earn a billion dollars in 1 year”. You tell the world, "i’m ready", f**k you Mum and Dad i’ll show you! You see someone makes good money writing copy for a living... Boom new career! You give it a go, you quit. “I’m no writer”. You see someone making good money coding... “Boom new career”, you hate it and it drives you nuts!
Your world continues and years past.
I know this. I’ve suffered from jumping place to place chasing those dollar dollar bills!
I’ll take you on a journey. I recently stopped. Stopped thinking about myself. Stopped doing what ever other people were “seen” to be making money doing. I re-read the TMFL again for the 5th time and I really let it soak in. I stopped chasing money and I let the what ever I heard or saw be my guide.
All of a sudden ideas and needs just started falling into me. I found a killer bike product that would help cyclists. I imported from China. Me and my girlfriend made the website and the packaging and now these are selling like hot cakes. I’m also lucky enough to be a really competent coder. Recently, I “luckily” (putting myself out there) found a massive industry where a SAAS product could be created and will be starting this when the other product is automated.
My key point here is:
Stop.
Stop chasing the latest fad.
Stop creating excuses for why you can’t go with ideas you may have.
Stop, if you feel like you are getting stressed or anxious. You are blinded by greed.
Greed will blind you to the best ideas and guess who will make money from the idea you missed… The guy who’s not chasing money.
Start helping others.
Start thinking about others.
Start hearing the issues the people have.
Start learning what attracts the cat?!
Start filling needs.
I know it’s tempting to write the “Billion dollar thread” but, I feel as someone has watched again and again, people find it boring as it is to “me" focused.
I would love to help those who are going through the anxiousness, as we’ve all been there and it can be a pretty dark place.
It's all there in the book. You just need to practice it.
