Hey everyone,
I recently stepped away from client work with the goal of starting my own business. Honestly, it’s a bit nerve wracking, but I’m excited to finally take the leap.
I’m here to learn, get some real advice from people who’ve already been through this path, and hopefully find the courage to keep going when things get tough.
Right now my plan is simple. I will just run Meta ads for one or two weeks and try to get one or two clients for web design. I am targeting local businesses and offering them budget friendly websites between $300 to $500. I do not know if I will get any clients in one or two weeks, but if I do, I will complete those projects and reinvest the payment into more ads.
I am still a student and I do not have a big budget, but I have enough to get started with ads. The only reason I have courage to start this is because my uncle is helping me. He is a senior developer with more than 15 years of wordpress experience. I have worked with him on big projects before, and now he is supporting me like a team member. He will not charge me anything in the beginning. So development is not a problem. We can build anything. I just need leads.
Right now I have many questions. Is there anyone here who has run a small web development agency and used ads to get clients? I just want to talk to someone who has done this before and maybe ask some questions.
